What's New Search For New Priest The Parish of Trinity Episcopal in Lewiston seeks a priest committed to living out the social gospel, serving the parishioners of Trinity and engaging members of the community who come into Trinity’s worship life. A priest who is comfortable with informality, and with the unexpected ways the Spirit is manifest in our community, would find the diversity of Trinity’s parishioners, and their individual spiritual journeys, a blessing. Our new priest will need a heart for collaborating with the laity in ministry, experience in pastoral care with support from laity, and gifts for teaching, preaching and facilitating respectful discussions of difficult topics. We need a confident leader with vision for outreach, a priest eager to make ecumenical connections and to minister to the unchurched in the neighborhood. Our new priest will nourish the spiritual needs of the existing parishioners, through a blend of the traditional and contemporary as embodied in our current liturgical practices.
